Borrowbooks

BorrowBooks is an online service managed by An Chomhairle Leabharlanna.

BorrowBooks.ie is an online service that allows a user search across the Irish public libraries’ online catalogues to find and request books, CDs, and DVDs, etc.

If a user finds an item they want in their local library service’s catalogue, he/she can make an online request for the item from that library service.

If the user finds the item in the catalogue of another library service, he/she can request it through his/her local library service, again by using an online booking form. The item will be delivered to the user’s local branch

BorrowBooks.ie is an initiative of the Irish public libraries, supported by An Chomhairle Leabharlanna and the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government and funded by the Information Society Fund.
