Irish Library News is now available in electronic format only. It is published 11 times each year (excluding January) by the Research & Information Department of an Chomhairle Leabharlanna/The Library Council.

The newsletter contains news and information on libraries and librarianship in Ireland, covering the activities of the 32 Public Library Authorities; library co-operation and interlending; library development and library education and training.
