In support of the public sector information role of public libraries, An Chomhairle was delighted to work with the Financial Regulator on a campaign to promote the www.itsyourmoney.ie website.

itsyourmoney website Itsyourmoney helps consumers shop around for financial products and make informed personal finance decisions.

The site features the Financial Regulator’s cost comparisons, which show the cost and benefits of a range of insurance and banking products.

These comparisons are published online and updated regularly.

The campaign to promote the free availability of the site on public library Internet PCs was launched at Pearse Street Library, Dublin, in January.
